Nasra Nanda – Chief Executive Officer, Kenya Green Building Society

Nasra Nanda is the Chief Executive Officer and ESG Lead at the Kenya Green Building Society and a lawyer with expertise in environmental, social and governance (ESG), sustainability and public policy. She is passionate about developing practical, sustainable solutions that help organizations address complex business, legal and societal challenges. Nanda serves as chair of the Africa Regional Network at the World Green Building Council, where she champions the African sustainability agenda. She is also a member of the Nairobi City County Assembly, where she advocates for sustainable urban development, women, youth and minority communities. In addition, Nanda serves on the Public Policy and Advocacy Committee and the Affordable Housing Taskforce of the Kenya Property Developers Association and has contributed to the Nairobi Securities Exchange ESG Disclosure Guidance Manual. Her work brings together law, business and sustainability to advance policy and practice in Kenya and internationally.
