Dan Hudnut
Wagner Forest Management, Ltd.
Dan Hudnut is a Vice President at Wagner Forest Management, Ltd., a leading forest management company in the northeastern US and eastern Canada. His responsibilities include buying and selling land; managing relationships with landowners and lenders; coordinating inventory, mapping, modeling, and management planning efforts; and administering commercial and recreational leases. He regularly works with technical information, ranging from timber inventories to appraisals and from financial statements to legal contracts. But even more, he works with people, forging effective relationships and teams with co-workers, business and conservation partners, contractors, agents, and members of the public. Hudnut holds MF and MBA degrees from Yale University (1993). He was a Luce Scholar at the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia in 1993-94. He worked for James W. Sewall Co. in Old Town, ME for several years, and has been part of the team at Wagner since 2001.
