Adam Wei – Professor, Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of British Columbia Okanagan
Adam Wei is a Professor of forest hydrology and watershed management in the Department of Earth, Environmental and Geographic Sciences at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. He also serves as Coordinator of the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) Task Force on Forests and Water Interactions in a Changing Environment and is an Associate Editor of Ecohydrology. Wei's research focuses on forest disturbance and hydrological responses, watershed ecosystem analysis, and the impacts of land use and climate change on water resources. He has authored approximately 200 peer-reviewed scientific publications, including papers in Science and Nature Communications, and leads research on the cumulative effects of forest disturbance, land use and climate change on water quantity and quality.
