Chris is a graduate of Yale College (B.S., ‘75) who returned to Yale in order to get more deeply engaged in working with the natural environment.  After graduating from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies (M.F.S., ‘85), he had a variety of positions (working for the western softwood lumber industry, involvement with tree care in Connecticut) before joining with the State of Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection Division of Forestry as an Urban Forester.  Since 2000, he has been the Urban Forestry Coordinator for Connecticut.

In addition to a B.S. and an M.F.S. from Yale, Chris is a licensed arborist and certified forester through the State of Connecticut.
